Sustainability Initiatives

We are implementing waste segregation and recycling practices for cargo-related materials such as packaging waste, pallets, plastic wraps,wooden skids etc. This minimizes landfill waste and reduces the environmental footprint of cargo handling operations.
GHAC has also installed Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations within the cargo terminal premises to encourage the use of clean mobility solutions among logistics partners and employees. This contributes towards cleaner air, lower carbon footprint and reduced fossil fuel dependency.

Plantation Drives

We regularly undertake plantation drives in and around the cargo terminal to enhance green cover and promote ecological balance.

GHAC is certified under ISO 14001- Environment and Sustainability Policy, ensuring compliance with global standards for environmental performance. This reinforces GHAC’s position as a responsible and globally aligned cargo terminal operator, trusted by stakeholders for sustainable operations.

Corporate Social Responsibility

GHAC has been implementing community development initiatives in the villages surrounding Rajiv Gandhi International Airport from the time of its commencement. The objective is to improve the quality of life of the communities through need-based interventions in the areas of Education; Health, Hygiene, Sanitation; and Empowerment and Livelihoods.
